Nicemoon Estate

Nicemoon Estate is a six-unit townhouse development located near the center of Koh Phangan. It was designed to serve both residential and business functions, allowing owners to live and work in the same space. The project responds to the tropical climate through its form and materiality, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.

We applied passive cooling strategies to every unit — optimizing shade, cross-ventilation, and window positioning to reduce reliance on air conditioning. Exterior finishes are kept light and clean, while the layout remains flexible enough to adapt to future use. The buildings sit along the main road, maximizing visibility and ease of access.

The overall design is clean and grounded, avoiding unnecessary visual noise. Our aim was to create something that felt modern and durable, yet warm and welcoming. Nicemoon is a simple project — but it’s thoughtfully designed to support the way people actually live and do business in island communities.
